nanashi noms

Nanashi is one of my favorite Paris restaurants. Although the Bento Boxes are not entirely in traditional Japanese style, it doesn’t really matter after your first bite. They’re too good. My favorite: Saumon Fume with wasabi yogurt on quinoa and chickpeas. Amazing. And the accompanying three salads of seasonal produce, also in the box, rotate daily.
This Bento is a Tofu Burger with cannelloni beans, eggplant, sprouts, roasted tomatoes, and a balsamic reduction. The bun wasn’t that great, but at Nanashi you always receive wonderful (gratuit) French bread AND BUTTER (butter is rarely given with bread, so this is a major win). Nanashi was my savior when I wanted a meal that was a) huge, b) yummy, and c) rich in nutrients. Nanashi delivers above and beyond.
Location: one in the Marais near Filles du Calvaire and one near Odeon
